Had the same thought the past 2 days. The airport seems are almost all young men of military age. I'm still yet to see reporting I'm even one incident where the Taliban was resisted. It's a pathetic collapse

Cant blame the US for the mess Afghan is in . The afghan officials siphoned off so much aid money and expected US and NATO for ever to stay , support and fight for them . They showed 3 lakh soldiers on record when in actual it is far less

This has all been all heartbreaking. I hardly slept last night thinking about what the U.S. is leaving behind. Pain and torture.
I also thought about the pilots who have to brave these scenes.

Can't think such a state at an air base, so open & vulnerable to physical harm to military air crafts, no security whatsoever. Earlier saw unruly scenes with crowd approach passenger aircrafts. Looks security is non existent in Kabul if this is stage of n ur base.
